Well... Where to begin? Last monday I cut my self pretty bad moving junk around my garage. I went into urgent care and got some stitches. they told me I should be healed up within the week. The next day my whole hand swelled up like a softball and began to hurt like a son of a bitch. I realized that I wouldn't be able to continue with my training camp and called the UFC to let them know. After a couple nights of absolute agony without any improvement it was clear my antibiotics weren't doing the trick. So I met up with my doctor friend to check it out. He took one look and we went immediately to see a hand surgeon. That was about 3:00pm on friday and by 6:30 I was being operated on. It turned out my tendon had become infected with staph and to save function of my hand they had to go in and clean it all out.
